You will also visit Olduvai Gorge, where the first human skull was discovered.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your guide-driver will pick you up from the airport or a designated location in Arusha and take you to Tarangire National Park. This is the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania and is well known for its large elephant herds and migratory animals during the dry season.
Upon arrival, enjoy an evening game drive, where you may see impalas, elands, buffaloes, giraffes, reedbucks, Coke’s hartebeests, Thompson’s gazelles, greater and lesser kudus, zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and more. Afterward, head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Begin the day with a morning game drive, then travel to Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest protected areas. The park is famous for the annual wildebeest migration and its high number of predators.
After a 3- to 4-hour drive, arrive in Serengeti for lunch, followed by an evening game drive at sunset. Look out for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and crocodiles. Return to your safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Start the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti, then transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater area. Along the way, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a historic site where the first human skull was discovered. After the tour, continue to Ngorongoro and check in at your lodge for some rest.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a 5-hour game drive in Ngorongoro, where you will see beautiful scenery and wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, and waterbucks. After the game drive, travel to Lake Manyara National Park, which is about an hour away.
Upon arrival, go on an evening game drive for about 2 hours. This is a great opportunity to see elephants, bushbucks, leopards, lions, hippos, giraffes, and zebras. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha – Departure
Enjoy a morning game drive before heading back to Arusha. Your guide-driver will drop you off at a designated location, such as the airport, marking the end of your safari.
