Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your professional guide-driver will pick you up from the airport or a designated location in Arusha, and you will head to Tarangire National Park. This protected area, the sixth-largest national park in Tanzania, is famous for its large elephant herds and migratory animals during the dry season.
Arrive and enjoy an evening game drive, where you may encounter animals such as impalas, elands, buffaloes, giraffes, reedbuck, Coke’s hartebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and more. Afterward, proceed to your lodge for dinner.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Begin the day with a morning game drive, then head to Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzania’s largest protected areas, famous for hosting the annual wildebeest migration and a high concentration of predators. After a 3- to 4-hour drive, arrive in Serengeti for lunch, followed by an evening game drive at sunset, where you may encounter lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, crocodiles, and more. Return to your safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Start the day with a morning game drive in Serengeti, followed by a transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater area. En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a historical site where the first human skull was discovered. After the tour, continue to Ngorongoro and check in at your lodge for some rest.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a 5-hour game drive in Ngorongoro, taking in the beautiful scenery and spotting wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, and waterbucks.
