Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Our guide will pick you up from Kigali City very early in the morning and transfer you to the south of Rwanda to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, pass by the former Presidential Palace and visit Butare Museum before completing your drive to Nyungwe Forest, arriving late in the afternoon.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Canopy Walk
Wake up early and head into the forest to locate the chimpanzees before they wake up. These chimps are highly mobile and move at a fast pace once awake, so your best chance is to find them early and spend time observing them.
