Book this 2-Day Gorilla Viewing Tour, one of our gorilla trekking tours, for an exceptional gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda.
Rwanda is one of the best places to see gorillas in Africa. Volcanoes National Park, the home of mountain gorillas, is just 2 hours from Kigali City, which is partly why many tourists prefer to trek from Rwanda. Its gorillas are much closer compared to the other two destinations.
This short distance makes it possible to complete a gorilla trekking safari in a day or two without hassle. For Uganda and Congo, you will need at least three days for a gorilla safari, along with many hours on the road unless you can afford flights.
This 2-day Rwanda gorilla tour starts and ends in Kigali. The package includes a gorilla trekking permit priced at USD 1500 per person, the same rate year round. Accommodation options range from shoestring to super luxury, depending on your budget and preference.
