Explore Kenya’s wildlife by visiting remarkable protected areas during this 7-day safari. Expect to encounter the Big Five, breathtaking scenery, unique bird species, and memorable moments such as sunrise, sunset, and the annual wildebeest migration.

Day 1: Transfer to Aberdare National Park from Nairobi

Meet your driver-guide in Nairobi and transfer to Aberdare National Park, a journey of about 4 hours. Depending on your arrival time, have lunch before proceeding on a game drive.

Spot wildlife such as buffaloes, elephants, lions, bushbucks, bush pigs, warthogs, reedbucks, serval cats, and elands.

Enjoy the scenic views before heading to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drive and Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park

Start the day with a morning game drive to witness the sunrise over the forest and open moorlands. Later, transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large flocks of pink flamingos.

Upon arrival, check in at the lodge, have lunch, and embark on an evening game drive. Look out for Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, hyenas, and rhinos.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Head to Masai Mara National Reserve

Leave Lake Nakuru and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s largest and most famous wildlife areas. The reserve is home to the Big Five and the annual wildebeest migration.

Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy an evening game drive, where you may spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, and zebras.

Day 4: Explore the Mara Plains (Game Drives)

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara through game drives, with a picnic lunch stop. Encounter a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, kudu, crocodiles, cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, and more.

If visiting between May and September, witness the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and head to Lake Naivasha, approximately 5 hours away. This freshwater lake in the Rift Valley is home to a variety of bird species, including herons, flamingos, egrets, and jacanas.

Upon arrival, check in at the lodge, have lunch, and enjoy an evening game drive to spot birds and wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Start the day with a morning game drive to see buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, hippos, baboons, and monkeys. Afterward, transfer to Amboseli National Park, famous for its views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds.

Upon arrival, take a game drive to see crocodiles, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, buffaloes, and elephants. Proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Head Back to Nairobi

Enjoy a final game drive in Amboseli, with chances to see nocturnal animals like lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. After breakfast, return to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight home, marking the end of your 7-day Kenya safari.
