It is located in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley, Entonet, Kenya, and is home to various animals, with elephants being the primary sight here.
The park shelters over 56 mammal species including giraffes, zebras, African wild dogs, white-bearded wildebeests, jackals, Grevy’s and Burchell’s zebras, Defassa waterbucks, Masai giraffes, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, hippos, cheetahs, hartebeests, Cape buffaloes, and the free-ranging elephants against the scenic backdrop of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
Amboseli also harbors quite a number of bird species. However, various reviews do not recommend it for bird watching safaris in Kenya.
