Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Goma
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, our tour guide will be waiting for you.
You will then transfer to Goma in Congo via Gisenyi.
Upon reaching Goma, you will check into your lodge and relax, preparing for your mountain gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day 2: First Gorilla Tracking
Wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters for a short briefing. Then, embark on your first mountain gorilla trekking adventure.
Gorilla trekking may last up to 6 hours, including a 1-hour experience, depending on the gorillas’ mobility.
After meeting the gorillas, return to your safari lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Second Gorilla Tracking
Today follows the same schedule as the previous day, except you will trek a different mountain gorilla family.
Day 4: Departure
Wake up early, cross the border, and transfer to Kigali, Rwanda, to catch your departure flight.
Depending on your flight time, you may participate in a few optional safari activities along the way.
