Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for an evening game drive from Kigali

This journey through Kabale exposes you to the amazing rolling hills, and Bunyaruguru popularly known for its crater lakes. Sight a stunning view of the rift valley as you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Check in to the lodge for a short relaxation before heading to Kasenyi Plains for an evening game drive.

Day 2: Have a Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

The Uganda wildlife authority rangers will take you through all the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas, and after that, you will head to the starting point of your allocated gorilla family.
Just put in mind that gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness and age.
Though it might be strenuous, Gorilla trekking is very interesting. With the sweet melodies of the birds and the sights of some primates crossing in front of you such as the vervet monkeys, the entire activity becomes worthwhile every minute that passes by.
Gorilla trekking can take from 30 minutes to three quarters of the day depending on how far the gorillas have gone, with one hour given to you to just relax and study their behaviors.
