Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, your driver guide meets you for a short city tour. You will visit the Genocide Memorial sites, craft markets, and fruit markets before lunch.
Afterwards, you drive through the Katuna border post into Uganda, a journey of about 4 to 5 hours. Along the way, enjoy views of the Kigezi Highlands, often called the Switzerland of Africa. On arrival, check in at your lodge in Bwindi for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
