Detailed 4-Day Sipi Falls Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Sipi Falls
After an early breakfast, set off by 6:00 am for eastern Uganda. The drive takes about 5 hours, passing through Kampala, Mabira, Jinja, Iganga, and Mbale, arriving around midday.
You can either have an early lunch before starting the hike to Sipi Falls or hike first and enjoy lunch at your lodge afterward. The hike takes about 4 hours, depending on your fitness level.
Day 2: Caves Tour, Community Visit & Coffee Tour
Spend the morning exploring caves around Mount Elgon National Park and visit the smallest of the Sipi waterfalls. Your guide will share information about the area and its history.
After lunch, visit the local community to learn about their way of life. You will also join a coffee tour to see how Arabica coffee is grown and processed. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Jinja Tour
After breakfast, travel from Kapchorwa to Jinja. Visit the Source of the Nile, the John Speke Monument, and Uganda’s first bridge built by Indian laborers.
In the evening, relax at The Bourbon restaurant before heading to Kingfisher Safaris Resort for overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala & Departure
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning boat cruise on the River Nile. Later, drive back to Kampala with a stop at Sezibwa Falls before completing the journey to Kampala for drop-off.
