Below is the day-by-day schedule of this affordable 3-day Rwanda gorilla safari. The package can also be tailored to match your preferences upon request.
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park in the northern province of Rwanda.
This is where mountain gorillas and 5 of the 8 Virunga Volcano mountains are found.
Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and relax.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
Today is the day you will encounter your gorilla cousins in the jungles of PNV. These apes share over 98% of our DNA and behave no differently from us, except they are wild.
Wake up early to attend the 7:30 am briefing. After the briefing, you will be assigned to random groups and allocated to trek random mountain gorilla families. Venture into the jungle trails in search of gorillas. Once you locate them, you will have an hour to observe and enjoy their presence.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and Departure
Today, transfer to Kigali City for a brief city tour before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
