Detailed 2-Day Rwanda Gorilla Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival, you will find our tour guide already waiting for you at the airport. From there, he will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze without delay.
Depending on your arrival time, you will check in to your lodge and begin early preparations for your gorilla trekking adventure the following day.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Departure
This day starts with an early rise. You need to be at the ORTPN offices by 7:30 am for the morning briefing. During this meeting, you will be assigned to groups of eight randomly and given all the necessary advice for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure.
After the briefing, you will begin your trek accompanied by an armed ranger for protection. Some of the park guides will move ahead to locate the gorillas and guide your group in the right direction.
The trek isn’t as challenging as the ones in Uganda but still requires a good physical condition.
When you encounter the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing them before returning to the park headquarters to receive your respective gorilla tracking certificates.
Afterward, you will transfer to Kigali to catch your flight back home.
