Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up and transfer you north to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. The park is just 2 hours away from Kigali. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and relax in preparation for gorilla trekking the following day.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your search for mountain gorillas in the jungles of Volcanoes National Park.
Gorilla trekking may last from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the time taken to locate the gorillas. This includes a 1-hour encounter with these primates.
In the afternoon, visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village and enjoy traditional Rwandese dances. This village offers a rich blend of Rwandan culture, ensuring you cherish every moment of your stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and Departure
