3 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari Overview
This 3-day package allows you to trek gorillas twice. There are approximately 11 mountain gorilla families in Rwanda.
This package will let you visit two different families.
If lucky, you will get to visit the Susa A – the biggest mountain gorilla family in Volcanoes National Park.

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up from your place of accommodation and transfer you to Volcanoes National Park.
You will drive through the beautiful countryside of Rwanda and get to see its hills and mountains.
Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and relax, preparing for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure the following day.
Day 2: First Gorilla Tracking
Today, you will embark on your first gorilla trekking experience.
You need to wake up very early and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the jungles to search for gorillas.
The tracking could take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on how quickly the gorillas are found.
After tracking the gorillas, return to your lodge for lunch, relax, and in the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for a cultural experience.
Day 3: Second Gorilla Tracking and Departure
You will follow the same morning routine as the previous day, but this time you will track a different mountain gorilla family.
After the gorilla tracking, your tour guide will transfer you directly to Kigali International Airport to catch your flight back home.
