3-Day Andasibe Reserve Wildlife Experience – In the foothills of Madagascar’s eastern escarpment lies Andasibe Wildlife Reserve, the most famous park in the country.
The park is home to eleven species of lemurs, including the indri, the largest lemur known for its loud calls, as well as well-camouflaged chameleons.

Detailed 3-Day Madagascar Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo & Travel to Andasibe
When you arrive in Antananarivo, Madagascar’s capital, you will meet your representative and be transferred to your hotel. After a short driving tour of the city, you will begin your journey to Andasibe, passing through green, lush vegetation that introduces you to the humid part of Madagascar, with forests, lakes, rice fields, waterfalls, and small forest areas.
Along the way, you will see villages of the Merina people on the rocky slopes. There will be a stop for lunch at the Reptile and Butterfly Farm before you continue to Andasibe.
In the evening, join a night walk in the Andasibe area to see night-active lemurs and other nocturnal animals.
Day 2: Explore Andasibe Reserve & V.O.I.I.M.A Community Reserve
After breakfast, you will visit the Andasibe Reserve, where you’ll explore the rich wildlife and nature of the park. Your guide will help you search for the indri, the largest lemur, and you will also spot orchids, chameleons, tenrecs, and many birds.
The park is a special place to experience Madagascar’s plants and animals. In the afternoon, you will visit the V.O.I.I.M.A Community Reserve, where you can see brown lemurs, more indri, chameleons, geckos, and birds.
Day 3: Return to Antananarivo & Departure
This marks the end of your wildlife adventure at Andasibe. You will travel back to Antananarivo, where you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home, taking with you wonderful memories of Madagascar’s lemurs and wildlife.
