Detailed 3-Day Ngamba Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Transfer to Ngamba Island
After breakfast in the morning, you will meet your safari guide and driver, who will take you to the landing site to catch a boat to Ngamba Island.
Accompanied by your guide, you will arrive on the island in a few hours, have lunch, and then proceed for a chimpanzee tracking experience.
This is your chance to care for these orphaned chimpanzees, so feel free to throw them some fruits as you watch them play in their natural habitat.
Day 2 – Ngamba Island Forest Walk
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a forest walk.
Please ensure you have taken the necessary vaccinations before engaging in this activity, as you will get very close to the chimps.
Some may pull at your clothes, shake your hand, or even climb on your neck!
You will return to the lodge for lunch, and afterward, you can either relax at the lodge or opt for an afternoon nature walk around the island.
Day 3 – Transfer Back to Entebbe
On the final day, you will transfer back to Entebbe, where you can choose to either visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) or take a tour around the Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
Afterward, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure or at your accommodation in Entebbe for an overnight stay.
