Detailed 3-Day Kidepo Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your chartered flight to Kidepo. The flight departs at 12:30 pm, so arriving early is important.
You will land in Kidepo around 2:00 pm, check into your lodge, have lunch, and relax before heading out for an evening game drive in the Narus Valley. Here you can spot elephants, Cape buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals.
Day 2: Wildlife Safari in Kidepo
After breakfast, join a morning game drive lasting about 3 to 4 hours. This is another chance to see wildlife in its natural setting, including antelopes, lions, cheetahs, and many bird species.
Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Karamojong community at Karena and Kapedo to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life.
Day 3: Transfer to Kampala and Departure
On the last day, have breakfast and then go for a short nature walk around the park, escorted by an armed ranger for safety.
