Day 1: Volcanoes National Park Tour, 2 to 3 Hour Drive
Have an early breakfast, then on arrival at Kigali Airport, receive a welcome to Rwanda, the Land of a Thousand Hills.
Get a briefing from your tour leader, then join a short Kigali city tour before continuing to Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda, a 2 to 3 hour drive.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Iby’Iwacu Village Walk
Rise early for breakfast, then attend a briefing on gorilla trekking rules. Between 7 and 8 am, you will be assigned a gorilla family and set off on the trek, lasting 2 to 6 hours.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park to Kigali Airport, Fly to Seronera Airstrip, Tanzania
After an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kigali Airport, with an optional stop at the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
Fly from Kigali Airport to Seronera Airstrip, Tanzania, about a 1 hour drive from Serengeti National Park. Check into your accommodation, then join an evening guided game drive across the Serengeti Plains.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head into Serengeti National Park for a full day game drive. Travel by 4WD through the Northern Safari Circuit, taking in the open plains and stopping for photos.
Spot cheetahs, lions, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, birds, and large numbers of wildebeest, with a picnic lunch along the way. Continue with an evening game drive before returning to your lodge.
Day 5: Head to Ngorongoro from Serengeti
After an early breakfast, set off for a Ngorongoro Crater tour. Have a relaxed lunch on arrival, then head to the crater for a game drive, spotting lions, buffaloes, jackals, zebras, elands, wildebeest, hyenas, cheetahs, and birds. Stay at accommodation near Lake Eyasi.
Day 6: Boat Trip on Lake Eyasi and Departure
After an early breakfast, leave the lodge for a morning boat cruise on Lake Eyasi to enjoy the sunrise over the lake. Afterward, connect to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your safari.
