4 Days Gorillas and Lake Kivu Overview
Mountain Gorilla Tracking can be tiring at times. This 4-day Rwanda gorilla package is designed to offer you an awesome moment with the gorillas in Volcanoes National Park and plenty of leisure at Lake Kivu, Gisenyi. The whole point is to trek and relax.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to Volcanoes National Park in the northern province of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you have the option to participate in an evening activity.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Wake up early in the morning and head to the park headquarters for a briefing before proceeding into the jungles to search for gorillas.
Gorilla trekking may take between 2 to 8 hours, depending on how long it takes to find the gorillas.
In the afternoon, visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to enjoy a taste of Rwandan culture. The experience is awesome.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu
Early in the morning, transfer to Lake Kivu in the western province of Rwanda. Upon arrival, take an afternoon boat ride to Coffee Island and explore a few other places.
In the evening, visit the surrounding towns of Gisenyi and Kibuye.
Day 4: Lake Kivu and Departure
This is the last day of your 4-day gorillas and Lake Kivu safari. Spend your morning relaxing at the beaches around Lake Kivu and enjoy optional water sports activities.
Depart Lake Kivu in the late afternoon and transfer to Kigali City to catch your departure flight. End of 4 days Rwanda gorillas and Lake Kivu safari.
