Detailed Kenya Camping Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Amboseli National Park Safari Expedition
Have an early breakfast and depart for Amboseli National Park from Nairobi, Kenya. Amboseli is popular for its breathtaking views of Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro and is a photographer’s most sought-after destination.
The park’s important animal species include zebras, elephants, giraffes, and lions. Have lunch at Amboseli N/Park’s lodge then set off for an afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Sunrise Game Drive in Amboseli
Rise early, enjoy breakfast at leisure, and then embark on a guided game drive. Spot cheetahs, lions, leopards, birds, elephants, and enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Return for a relaxed lunch and head out for another session of game driving in Amboseli.
Day 3: Visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Wake up early for breakfast and then carry a picnic lunch before setting off for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, also known as Sweet Waters.
Explore Ol Pejeta, renowned as a chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, followed by an evening game drive in Aberdare National Park.
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve Safari
Enjoy breakfast in the morning and then leave Ol Pejeta Conservancy for Samburu National Reserve, one of Kenya’s untapped tourist sites.

Day 5: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve, Kenya
After breakfast, explore and experience Samburu National Reserve on a full-day game viewing. Expect to come across animal species such as hyenas, lions, leopards, cheetahs, antelopes, and giraffes.
Day 6: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then visit Lake Nakuru NP along the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Nakuru NP was once popular for flamingos but now boasts large herds of buffaloes and black and white rhinos.
Enjoy lunch at leisure then embark on an afternoon game drive via the lake’s shores to see baboons, elands, waterbucks, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and birds, including flamingos.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria – Lake Naivasha
Have a hearty breakfast early and then visit two other scenic lakes in Magical Kenya, including Lake Bogoria to see the hot springs and geysers.
This scenic lake houses over 2 million flamingos and you will have a chance to relax at the hot springs and swimming pools. Have lunch and head to Lake Naivasha for an incredible view of hippos and aquatic birds during a boat ride.
Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart from Lake Naivasha for Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the most popular nature reserves in Kenya.

Day 9: Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya
