Detailed Kenya Family Tour Package
Day 1: Nairobi City to Masai Mara National Reserve, southwestern Kenya
The beautiful and secluded wilderness of Masai Mara National Reserve is an easy five-hour road trip from Nairobi City with a bird’s-eye view of the Great Rift Valley.
Lunch will be en-route, and on arrival at the Reserve, check-in at the Lodge for relaxation. In the evening, undertake a game drive and return to the Tented Camp for a hot meal and overnight.
Day 2: Full day game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve
Start your morning with breakfast at the lodge and spend the full day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve on a game drive. You’ll have the chance to see the big five animals – elephants, buffaloes, lions, black rhinos, and buffaloes – as well as hippos, cheetahs, wildebeests, Thompson gazelles, impalas, zebras, and many others roaming the Savannah plains and rolling hills crossed by the popular Talek and Mara Rivers.
An optional visit to a nearby Masai village for a cultural tour to learn about their riveting way of life, delicious foods, and exciting traditional dances. Close your evening with bonfires at the Lodge and rest with the expectation of more adventure.
Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early in the morning, have breakfast and drive through Masai Mara National Reserve while connecting to Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the beautiful greater and lesser flamingos.
On arrival, commence a game drive that will introduce you to the black and white rhinoceros, buffaloes, lions, and many other animals.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Hell’s Gate National Park via Naivasha
Rise with the sun, have breakfast, and embark on a game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, where lush grasslands teem with a wide range of wildlife and bird species.
Expect to see exceptional white rhinos, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffaloes, impalas, elephants, hippos, yellow baboons, and, most excitingly, the pink flamingos.
The game drive lasts 3-4 hours, after which you depart for Naivasha. Stop en-route for lunch at one of the hotels and continue to Hell’s Gate National Park.
Undertake a biking tour or game drive through the park with magnificent views of water-filled gorges, towering cliffs, rock towers, and many others, making it one of the most beautiful parks in the African continent.
There will also be a short boat ride on Lake Naivasha before retiring for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Hell’s Gate National Park to Amboseli National Park
Early in the morning, have breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park, the second most popular destination in Kenya known for its free-ranging elephants and the backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy more game drives while connecting to the Lodge for check-in and later lunch.
Enjoy a rewarding game drive marked by views of zebras, Masai giraffes, wildebeests, lions, leopards, hippos, free-ranging elephants, and, most extraordinarily, views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, dine and rest at your reserved lodge.
Day 6: Full day game viewing in Amboseli National Park
Explore the beautiful Savannah plains of Amboseli, one of Kenya’s smallest and most beautiful national parks.
You will have the whole day to discover its splendor and what makes it even more popular than its larger counterparts.
Search for residents such as elephants, wildebeests, hippos, giraffes, and zebras walking against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Later, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi City
Your 7-day Kenya Safari officially ends after a delicious breakfast on this day, and you will continue to Nairobi City for onward flights back home or to other destinations.
