Day 1: From Lusaka to Kafue National Park, Evening Game Drive

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Lusaka for the drive to Kafue National Park, about 6 hours and 12 minutes for 357.2km.

Continue to the lodge for lunch, then relax in the afternoon. Join an evening game drive to see animals and birds in the park, including springboks, meerkat, impalas, waterbucks, elands, common genets, leopards, African buffaloes, jackals, servals, and hippos. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Kafue National Park, Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

Start the day with an early meal at sunrise, then join a morning game drive in Kafue National Park to spot the animals that live there.

Enjoy the morning drive, then transfer to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park on another game drive, looking for birds such as the African jacana, African darter, marabou stork, hammerkop, African fish eagle, turaco, Abyssinian ground hornbill, black bee-eater, egret, piapiac, and Egyptian goose.

Drive back to the lodge in the evening to relax, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Sport Fishing

Enjoy an early meal at first light, then join a sunrise game drive through the park to look for the Big Five and other animals.

Return to the lodge at midday for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to the Kafue River for a sport fishing trip, where you can try to catch African catfish and largemouth bass.

Enjoy the activity through the afternoon, then transfer back to the lodge at dusk to relax. Dinner will be served, followed by overnight rest.

Day 4: Transfer to South Luangwa National Park

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then check out for the drive to South Luangwa National Park, covering 180km.

Stop for lunch in Lusaka at a good restaurant, then continue the journey. On arrival at the park, continue to your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and rest overnight to prepare for the next day.

Day 5: South Luangwa National Park, Morning and Afternoon Game Drive

Enjoy an early morning meal, then join a morning game drive through the grasslands of South Luangwa National Park, home to the Big Five, serval cats, impala, spotted hyenas, hartebeests, Defassa waterbucks, elands, and giraffes.

Spend the morning observing these animals, then transfer back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, join another game drive deeper into the park for more sightings.

Return to the lodge in the evening to relax and have dinner, then rest overnight.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Canoe Ride

Enjoy an early breakfast, then join a morning game drive in the park for more chances to see animals and birds.

The game drive continues into mid-morning, then return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. After lunch, drive to the Luangwa River for a canoe ride, letting you reach areas vehicles cannot go.

Enjoy the ride until sunset, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Travel to Lower Zambezi National Park, Evening Walk

Have breakfast at dawn, then drive to Lower Zambezi National Park, about 5 hours and 33 minutes for 359.4km.

On arrival, go straight to the lodge to relax from the drive and have lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing in your room.

In the evening, join a guided walk near the lodge to see animals and plants, including acacia trees, figs, and shrubs. Return to the lodge when it gets dark for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Zambezi River

Enjoy breakfast at sunrise, then join a morning game drive through the deeper parts of Lower Zambezi National Park. Look for African bush elephants, African buffaloes, lions, leopards, jackals, servals, hippos, spotted hyenas, hartebeests, Defassa waterbucks, and wildebeests.

Enjoy the morning drive, then transfer to the lodge around midday for lunch. In the afternoon, join a boat cruise on the Zambezi River to see more of the park’s animals and birds.

The cruise continues until dusk, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 9: Morning Game Drive and Sport Fishing

Enjoy breakfast in the early morning, then join a morning game drive for more chances to spot animals and birds, including a good time to see cats out hunting. Look for lions, leopards, servals, cheetahs, and common genets.

Transfer back to the lodge at midday for lunch, then relax in your room. In the evening, join a sport fishing trip on the Zambezi River to catch African catfish, largemouth bass, and hake.

Return to the lodge at dusk for dinner, a sundowner, and overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure to Lusaka, End of Safari

Enjoy breakfast early in the morning, then check out of the lodge. Drive to Lusaka, about 2 hours and 44 minutes for 168km, marking the end of your safari.
