Overview
Visit four notable national parks in Tanzania that are Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara as you will have a chance to spot the big five animals, unique birds and endless sceneries if it’s a season of wildebeest migration, enjoy this moment to.
Animals that will not be missed are the big five animals, wildebeests, the rare tree-climbing lions, zebras, giraffes, kudu, crocodiles, cheetahs and more. You will have different game drives in these parks to enjoy the best landscape, animal viewing and great moments. On this safari, visit the Olduvai Gorge site, a place where the first human skull was discovered.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
Our assigned professional guide driver will pick you up from the airport or any agreed point in Arusha and you will head to Tarangire National Park. This protected area is ranked to be the 6th largest national park in Tanzania famous for its large herds of elephants and small numbers of migration animals during the dry season.
Arrive and take part in the evening game drive where you will be able to spot animals like impalas, elands, buffaloes, giraffes, reedbuck, Coke’s hartebeest, Thompson’s gazelle, the greater and lesser kudu, zebras, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs and more. Head to the lodge for your dinner.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park.
Have a morning game drive and thereafter head to Serengeti National Park, one of the largest protected areas in Tanzania known for hosting the annual wildebeest migration, large numbers of predators and many more others. After a 3 to 4 hour’s drive, arrive and be served lunch followed by a game drive in the evening on sunset as you expect to meet animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, crocodiles and more others. Head back to the checked-in safari lodge and enjoy your dinner and night stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Have a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park which will be followed by a transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater area. This will include a stopover at Olduvai Gorge, a historical place where the first human skull was discovered. After the short tour, proceed to Ngorongoro and have a rest after checking in the accommodation booked.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
Have a 5 hours’ game drive while in Ngorongoro discovering the beautiful scenery and wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, jackals, impalas, bushbucks, elands, hartebeests, waterbucks and many more.
After, head to Lake Manyara National Park, it’s a short distance that takes about an hour’s drive. Arrive and have an evening game drive for about 2 hours and this will create more memories as you spot animals like elephants, bushbucks, leopards, lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras and many more. Head to the lodge for dinner.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha. Departure.
Have a morning game drive which will be followed by a transfer back to Arusha city. The driver guide will drop you at any point agreed upon like the airport to depart home hence marking the end of the safari.
