Overview.
Tanzania is known as one of the most beautiful safari destinations in the eastern part of Africa and is a host to the most exciting activities which travelers on this safari will be part of. Travelers will get to experience the great wildebeest migration, exciting game drives in the various national parks herein, extensive exploration of the Ngorongoro crater which is celebrated for its stunning views amongst other exhilarating activities.
This 4 days safari will ensure that visitors have top-notch experiences in the national parks of Tanzania as they enjoy the luxurious feelings of the entire safari ranging from transportation to accommodation. A variety of rare wildlife species will be observed on this safari ranging from huge animals to beautiful bird species.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arusha to lake Manyara. Game drive in lake Manyara National Park.
Travelers will be picked up from Arusha by a guide who will come along with a safari vehicle. Undertake the journey from Arusha to lake Manyara National Park which will last for about one hour and a half. Relish in the views of the National Park as you drive through taking a close look at the animals encountered especially the cats, herds of African Bush elephants, hippopotami, zebras, giraffes and Cape buffaloes.
Transfer to the lodge at noon to get served a delicious lunch. An afternoon game drive will be conducted in lake Manyara National Park to further present opportunities to observe the captivating species of flora and fauna that make up the magnificent wilderness. Enjoy the views the entire afternoon and later at eventide, transfer back to the lodge to have dinner and an overnight rest.
Day 2: Transfer to central Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in Serengeti.
A delicious breakfast will be served at the lodge before sunup. Savor the breakfast in the accommodation facility in the midst of the breathtaking greenery of the park. Undertake the transfer to central Serengeti National Park after, which will take you roughly 2 hours and 23 minutes. On arrival, you will transfer to the lodge and relax as you enjoy the views of the Savannah grasslands of Serengeti. A delicious lunch will be served later in the afternoon.
An afternoon game drive will then be conducted in Serengeti National Park which will provide you with the observation of the hundreds of wildebeests, Defassa waterbucks, hartebeests, giraffes, common elands, warthogs, zebras, African buffaloes, elephants and cheetahs. Ensure to keep your eyes widely open in order not to miss any animal. Transfer back to the lodge at sunset to unwind in the well appointed rooms, supper will be served later and you’ll have a night time rest.
Day 3: Morning game drive in central Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro / Karatu.
Have an early meal as served at your accommodation facility. Conduct a morning game drive in the central parts of Serengeti National Park that will further help the visitors to observe a variety of animals that live within the Serengeti habitat. This among others include the big 5 animals, popular wildebeests, heartbeats and Defassa waterbucks. Enjoy the views of the animals and the experiences through the Savannah grasslands of Serengeti the entire morning and later at around midday undertake the drive back to the lodge for a scrupulous lunch. Embark on the journey to Ngorongoro. The journey will take approximately 4 hours and on arrival you will continue to Karatu.
Drive to the lodge and relax as you enjoy the views of the breathtaking scenery. An evening exploration game drive will then be conducted to present to you a chance to observe a variety of animals and explore the areas in the crater. Head back to the lodge when it gets dark to have a scrumptious dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ngorongoro crater tour (5 hours) and the transfer to Arusha.
You will be served a morning delicious meal at the lodge after which you will undertake a tour to Ngorongoro crater to extensively explore it. Enjoy the sightseeing and photography at the destination for approximately 5 hours.
Drive back to the lodge at around midday where the team of waiters and waitresses will provide you with lunch. After lunch, you’ll undertake the journey to Arusha that will last for about 2 hours and 33 minutes. In Arusha, you will catch the flight back home and therefore end the exciting safari.
