Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Safari from Nairobi to Maasai Mara
As early as 7:00am, you will be picked up at the respective location or hotel in Nairobi capital and connect to Wilson Airport. Take a flight to Maasai Mara and expect a remarkable treat to spectacular aerial views of the countryside Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive early at one of the Maasai Mara’s airstrips and connect to your respective lodge for relaxation.
Get enough relaxation, refreshments and exit your lodge or camp for an afternoon game drive. The afternoon game viewing allows you to look out for grazers, and other mammals like lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Drive back to the safari camp for leisurely dinner and a night stay.
Day 2: Enjoy a full day Mara Game drive with a trained guide
Start your day with breakfast and depart your camp/lodge with a pack of lunch. You will have a full day expedition exploring diverse animal species including African buffaloes, elephants, leopards, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, topis, gazelles and birds. The special event not to be missed will be the witnessing the wildebeest migration -this is especially if your trip falls within June to September.
Settle for a memorable picnic lunch in the wilderness of Masai Mara. Proceed with the afternoon game drive to look out for more mammals and other species. In case time permits, you may consider visiting the Maasai village/homestead to interact with the Maasai local residents living adjacent to the reserve. After, get back to your pre-booked camp or lodge for relaxation and a night stay.
Day 3: Depart from Masai Mara
A leisurely breakfast will be followed by check out, then connect to the nearby airport to catch up with the morning flight back to Nairobi. Land at Wilson Airport and either be transferred to the hotel in Nairobi or proceed with your flight back home marking the end of 3-day Masai Mara Flying Safari.
