4 Days Addis City Tour and Lalibela

Day 01. Addis Ababa City Tour
You will be picked from the airport for your hotel by our guide for this day as you adventure the city of Addis Ababa. We shall have an opportunity to visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral. From there we shall then head to the largest open air market in Africa, the Merkato market. We shall then go to the Entoto mountain where we shall have the best views of the Addis Ababa city. The National museum is also within a distance and you will have a chance to see the remains of the oldest homo sapient to have lived over 3 million years ago.
At the largest open air market, we shall get a glance at how business is run in the Ethiopian Capital. This market is a source for almost every commodity needed by the locals. You can get a souvenir here as well. There is an arts and culture section here.
The drive around the city will give you a chance to interact with several historical monuments in the city that play an important part in the history of the city and the country.

Day 02. Flight to Lalibela (Eight Wonders of the World)
After our breakfast we shall take a flight to the UNESCO world heritage site of Lalibera. This site is also known as the New Jerusalem. The town is famous for the rock Hewn churches. These are also known as the eight wonders of the world. These churches are physically located on the rock. The craft that the churches have the concept of how they come to stand this high on the rock is over whelming. You will check into your accommodation and then go out to explore. The other attractions are the Northern churches: Bet MedhaneAlem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael & Bet Golgotha. The other famous churches here is the Bet Giyorgis. This is in honour of St. George who is also the patron of Ethiopia as a country.

Day 03. LalibelaThe Church Of YimrehaneKirstos
We shall head to YimrehaneKirstos after breakfast. This is a church built up cave. It is believed to have been in existence before the eight wonders of the world. This church is a very stunning one that will marvel you. It is well decorated and the architecture is something to wonder about. There are bodies of pilgrims from very many centuries ago. We shall also see the southern cluster churches: Bet Gabriel-Rufael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Amanual, and Bet Abba Libanos.

Day 04. Flight Back To Addis
We shall head back to Addis Ababa for our flight back home after breakfast. You will make stopovers to get some souvenirs. You will also make a lunch to enjoy a typical Ethiopian Cuisine and you enjoy entertainment.
